I had the pleasure of visiting this charming pub last weekend, and I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. The decor is rustic and cozy, with wooden beams and a lovely fireplace that sets the perfect backdrop for a relaxed evening. I started with their homemade steak and ale pie, which was simply exquisite—flaky pastry and tender beef, all infused with rich gravy. The selection of ales was impressive, and I particularly enjoyed a local IPA that the staff recommended; it was refreshing and perfectly balanced. Speaking of the staff, they were incredibly friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I did notice that it got quite busy around dinner time, which made service a little slower than I’d have liked; however, the quality of the food and drinks more than made up for it. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great meal and a laid-back vibe. I’ll definitely be returning soon to try out their Sunday roast—I've heard it's a must-try!

I visited this pub with some friends last Friday, and I can't stop raving about it! The vibe was exactly what we needed—a combination of a lively crowd and a relaxed setting. We started our night with some sharing platters, and they were generous portions with an excellent variety of finger foods. The homemade dips were a highlight; I couldn’t get enough of the spicy hummus! We also tried a few cocktails, and I must say, the mixologist really knows their craft. Each drink was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The only minor drawback was that the music was a tad too loud for conversations at times, but it definitely added to the lively atmosphere. The staff were attentive and quick, ensuring our glasses were never empty. If you're looking for a vibrant place to unwind with friends, this pub should be on your list. I’m looking forward to going back and maybe trying their quiz night next time!

What a fantastic find! I popped in for a quick drink and ended up staying much longer. The atmosphere is amazing, and the staff are super friendly. I’ll definitely be back for more!
